France starts moving out remaining Calais camp children


More than 1,500 children are now being removed from the Calais camp to refugee centres around the country

French authorities on Wednesday started moving out the remaining 1,500 unaccompanied children living near the razed "Jungle" migrant camp in Calais to reception centres around the country.
A first bus carrying 43 minors left the area around 8:30 am (0730 GMT), rapidly followed by a second one. More than 70 buses have been deployed for the operation.
